Without our ShopSabre PRO 408 Router, many of the Gulf Coast precision machining jobs that we specialize in completing would not be possible. Before our multi-axis mills and lathes can be utilized, our CNC Router is often used to cut our customers’ desired machining materials to shape. Our CNC router is also utilized to contour, drill, tap, and surface the materials we are working with to ensure a clean finish.
This advanced, programmable machining center allows us to precisely cut metals and plastics into complex shapes and prepare them for the work our other machining centers are designed for. The cutting process is completed utilizing a vacuum table. The initial work our ShopSabre router is used for sets the tone for the precision machining work we are contracted to complete and therefore plays a vital role in our process.

Our ShopSabre CNC Router system has a 5’ x 8’ working area and 12” of height capacity, making it ideal for innumerable precision machining jobs. While we tend to machine smaller precision parts, this capacity allows us to begin work with materials that are often purchased in larger sizes for cost efficiency.
In addition to the range of material sizes our CNC Router can cut, drill, tap, and surface, we also work with a variety of materials. These primarily include aluminum, composites, plastics, and even machining steel sheet metal. The materials used in any given project will determine which of our CNC machining centers will best serve the job. Thankfully, the diverse systems we maintain in-house provide us with plenty of solutions regardless of what your parts will be made from.
